Parenting Talk on Happy & Harmonious Family (KLZ-POT4) cum Paper Quilling Bonding Workshop, 9 May 2015
Have you noticed that some families seem to be happy and harmonious most of the time; while other families seem to be in conflict?
It is in a happy family that an individual first learns to interact with people, and picks up the valuable trait of give and take; share and care. While we have differences, choosing to live happily and in harmony within the family, is an attitude. This will soon extend to the outside world.
This talk will enrich parents about the family life cycle. Possible life events that happen at each juncture of the life cycle could take away the happiness and harmony. Learn about what parents can do to restore that happiness and harmony by making informed decisions.
Applying some essential concepts into practical steps, this talk hopes to build family relationships so as to make family life an enjoyable one for all members.
The Paper Quilling workshop provides an opportunity for parents and children to come together to discover, learn and acquire the values of effective family bonding. This can foster better relationships, resulting in happy and harmonious family life.
Paper quilling is a highly creative art form that involves paper strips rolled, coiled, crimped and glued together to form a wide array of designs, from flowers to ornamental patterns. In this workshop, participants will be taught the basic paper quilling techniques and how to make a greeting card with the tools and materials provided.
